Ingredients

For the salmon
  • 4 salmon fillets 6-ounce, skin-on (about 1 1/2 pounds total)
  • 0.5 tsp kosher salt
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper
For the honey-lime glaze
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp fresh lime juice
  • 1 tsp lime zest finely grated
  • 1 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Equipment

  • 1 rimmed baking sheet

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F.
  2. Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Pat the salmon dry.
  4. Arrange the fillets skin side down on the baking sheet.
  5. Season the salmon evenly with the salt and pepper.
  6. Whisk the honey, lime juice, lime zest, garlic, and olive oil in a small bowl.
  7. Brush the glaze evenly over the salmon.
  8. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, until the thickest part of each fillet reaches 145°F.

Notes

For best results, check the temperature in the thickest part of each fillet. Refrigerate leftovers for up to 3 days; freeze for up to 2 months. For a honey-free option, use maple syrup in the glaze.
